What Is a Heat Pump?

Heating, cooling and hot water from a single system that moves energy from the outside air.

How Does It Work?

A heat pump captures thermal energy that already exists in the outdoor air and transfers it into your living space. It uses electricity to move heat rather than to generate it — delivering roughly 3–5 kW of heat for every 1 kW of electricity consumed.

In summer the cycle reverses and the same unit cools your space. The Rota Monobloc also prepares domestic hot water, combining three functions in one system.

Ideal for Izmir's Climate

Heat pump efficiency depends on outdoor temperature. With its mild Aegean winters, Izmir lets a heat pump run at high efficiency all year round — making it one of the fastest payback regions in Türkiye.

Photovoltaic Compatibility

The Rota Heat Pump can operate in coordination with rooftop solar (PV) systems, cutting your heating and cooling costs even further.

Which Capacity Do I Need?

The Monobloc series comes in 8, 10, 12 and 16 kW versions and scales up to 96 kW in cascade. Pi Mekanik provides free on-site surveys across Izmir to size the right system for you.
